Value of High School Diploma

By Action of the MASSP Board of Directors,

This we believe…

It's no secret to anyone that Michigan has lost more than 200,000 manufacturing jobs since 2001. The new "knowledge economy" is creating enough high-tech, high-paying jobs to replace those we've lost – but for almost all of them, education beyond high school is required. For our children and our state to thrive in the future, we must encourage all graduating high school students to strive for a technical certificate or college diploma.
